College men's basketball: Warriors clamp down on 'Dogs

Devin Whitelow scored 16 points off the bench as Winona State rolled to a 71-52 victory over Minnesota Duluth in an NSIC game before 1,080 on Friday night at McCown Gymnasium in Winona, Minn.

Caleb Wagner added 15 points and Tommy Gathje chipped in 10 in a balanced effort for the Warriors (11-6 overall, 6-5 NSIC).

Logan Rohrscheib (15 points) and Jake Wilson (10) were the lone players in double figures in scoring for UMD (6-9, 3-7), which shot just 32.7 percent from the field (17 of 52) and 22.7 percent from 3-point range (5 of 22).
